After a nice but short drive from Montpelier, we arrived in Burlington, VT. There wasn't anything along the way that caused us to change our minds about Vermont being our favorite. For some reason we failed to take a picture of the sign but we spent the better part of a day at the Shelburne Museum. There were many things to see and do.
Had to take a picture of the trees as we arrived at the entrance.
A few vintage snowmobiles including the 12 man sled.
Metal circus elephants
Nancy has been wanting to ride a horse ever since she had her knees replaced. She got her chance. Carousels are a big attraction in New England.
The Ticonderoga

We had a chance to tour the Vermont Teddy Bear factory. It was a real fuzzy experience.
Did you know the teddy bear got its name from one of our presidents?
Nancy found a friend.
Vermont teddy bears are guaranteed for life and if there is any problem you can return them to the factory where they are immediately "placed in intensive care with an IV", and a new one is sent to you at no charge.
Lanna was our tour guide. As you can see, she was not shy! Russ had fun giving her a hard time but she handled him just fine.
